OASIS Mombai. A project serving the community of Bhaskar Nagar, a densely populated neighbourhood of around 5,000 people in Mumbai, characterised by youth addiction; lack of job skills; poor access to quality education, clean water and toilet facilities; an unsafe environment and lack of healthcare. The project focuses on improving educational opportunities for 120 children, empowering 100 women through vocational training and awareness campaigns, and addressing the challenges of a low skill-base, unemployment, and addiction of 120 young men. In all activities the project prioritises the most marginalised, such as children at risk of trafficking and abuse and people living with disabilities.
